Call for street performers, vendors

FARMINGTON — Farmington Summer Fest is looking for street performers of all types — musicians, jugglers, magicians, mummers — for the annual Summer Fest to be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 26.

Email a description of your act and contact information to Andy Buckland at andybuckland@myfairpoint.net.

Organizers are also seeking vendors with fresh or prepared foods to participate. Farmers, food carts and food-making demonstrations are all welcome to apply. For an application, email Matthew Potvin at matthew.potvin@gmail.com.

Community Kitchen spring events

INDUSTRY — Industry Community Kitchen has announced its spring event schedule.

On April 24, Healthy Maine Coalition will give a presentation at 9 a.m. followed by lunch and social.

On May 8, a musical presentation will begin at 10 a.m., with a noon lunch followed with storytelling.

On May 22, a Martin’s Point informational health insurance presentation at 10 a.m. will be followed by lunch and social.

All the events are offered free.

Wilkins House indoor yard sale

WATERFORD — The first indoor yard sale at the Wilkins House will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 26.

Many new items were received over the winter, including furniture, games, crafts and household items. There is something for everyone.

The Wilkins House is on Plummer Hill Road next to the church in the center of Waterford. All proceeds from the sale benefit the Wilkins House and the church.

Mexico High School Class of 1949

MEXICO — Mexico High School Class of 1949 will meet for lunch at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, at Dick’s Restaurant.

Spouses and friends are welcome.
