Danville Grange meets April 24

AUBURN — Danville Junction Grange will meet at 7p.m. Thursday, April 24. The theme of the program is “Spring Fling,” and members are reminded to dress appropriately for the costume contest.

Any member with membership applications is to bring them to be acted upon. Refreshments will be served at the close of the meeting. All members and guests are welcome.

Pine Cone OES special meeting

AUBURN — A special meeting of Pine Cone Chapter 26, Order of the Eastern Star, will be held to confer the degrees of the order at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at the Masonic Hall, 1021 Turner St.

The chapter has the traveling teapot for District 4. All Eastern Star members are welcome to meet the new members.

Refreshments will be served in the dining hall following the meeting.

Marine Corps League meeting

LEWISTON — The Marine Corps League Central Maine Detachment will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at the Holy Cross Senior Hall, 16 St. Croix St.

Use the side entrance on the left.

All FMF corpsman can join and are welcome.

Bean, ham supper at Lisbon church

LISBON — A home-baked bean and ham supper will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at Lisbon United Methodist Church, School Street.

Cost is $7 for adults, $3 for children 6-12 years old, and free for 5 and under.

The supper is hosted by the Methodist Women.
