Herbalist to present program

NORWAY — Herbalist Suzanne Dunham will give a presentation on herbs and foods that help cleanse the digestive system. It will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 26, at the Old Squire’s Farm Market, 493 Main St. Participants will learn about the role of the liver, the master detoxifier.

Dunham will also do a demo on making body powder using only natural ingredients that can also be personalized with fragrances using essential oils. She will have ingredients for sale and will provide recipes and other handouts.

Suzanne and her husband are the owners of Dunham Farm and Velvet Hollow Sugar Works in Greenwood where they operate a dedicated gluten-free commercial kitchen and bakery. They also produce maple syrup and are beekeepers.

Pet Adoption and Fun Day

PARIS — Molly’s Moments, a pet rescue in Bryant Pond, will hold its second annual Pet Adoption and Fun Day from 10 a.m. to p.m. Saturday, April 26, at 179 Main St. No. 6.

Events include tricks by Christie and Alex at 10 a.m., prevent the bite at 10:30 a.m., obedience at 11 a.m., pet photos at noon and agility at 1 p.m.

There will also be a coloring contest, raffles and 50/50, and hot dogs, chips, soda, cookies and brownies.
