LIVERMORE FALLS — Police are investigating a burglary at an apartment on Wheeler Street where three game consoles were stolen and water pipes were broken.
It was reported at 2:30 p.m. Monday that a door had been kicked open at the home, police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said Tuesday. The burglary is believed to have occurred Saturday.
An Xbox 360, a PlayStation 3 and a red Wii were stolen, he said. They are valued at more than $1,000.
The pipes under the kitchen and bathrooms sinks were broken and water flooded the area, Steward said. Damage is estimated at more than $1,000.
Officer Daniel Chabot is investigating.
