RUMFORD — Public memorial services honoring the life of Josephine D. Pelote, “Josie,” of Rumford, were held Saturday morning, April 19, at Wiles Remembrance Center, Weld Street, Dixfield, with Rhonda Wiles-Rosell as celebrant.

Special music included “How Great Thou Art” and “I Don’t Want to Lose Your Love” by The Outfield. Her son, Joey Pelote; close friend, Sherri Gee; companion, Richard Grant and other family members from New Jersey offered special remembrances.

The Lewiston-Auburn Color 9-1-1 Color Guard and Honor Guard offered the 911 closing committal at the conclusion of her services.
