1979 – 2014

LIVERMORE FALLS — On April 23rd of the year 2014, Tobin Alan Fournier, 34, did not leave us; he’s on another journey preparing the road for his loved ones.

Tobin was born on April 30, 1979, in Biloxi, Miss., to Dianne Newcomb and Peter Fournier. He attended school in Livermore Falls and was a 1997 graduate of Jay High School. Following graduation, Tobin traveled to Florida and later to Colorado, where he met Sarah Lansford and they had their son, Noah John. Tobin worked various jobs, including ballroom dance instructor, bartender and waiter, and in construction.

Tobin excelled at sports; baseball, mud football, softball, recently playing for the Hillside sports team, snowboarding, kayaking and playing pool. He had a heart of gold, and was always ready to help and give a rugged helping hand. He loved deeply, with all his heart, and was a friend through thick and thin. His son meant the world to him; Tobin could always be heard bragging about his intelligent, athletic and loving boy. His greatest joy in his life was Noah John.

He is survived by his son, Noah John Fournier, of Arizona; his mother, Dianne Newcomb, of Jay; his father, Peter Fournier, of Colorado; half-brother, Jesse Fournier; his “Dad,” Waldo Souther, of Livermore Falls; sister and brother, Jasmin and Josh Souther; and aunts and uncles, Mae Parlin Richard and Carla Newcomb, Teri and David Allen, Paulette Newcomb, Janice and Chuck Sweeny, Cindy and Red Groomes and Susan, George and Tom Fournier.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Earl and Ann Newcomb and George and Lorraine Fournier; and his uncle, John Newcomb.
