Church is hosting bell choir concert

AUBURN — The Auburn United Methodist Church will present the annual Bell Choir Concert at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 3. The church is located at 549 Park St.

This year the Wesleyan Singers will also perform at the free concert . For more information, call the church office at 782-3972.

Seniors to play bingo Wednesday

AUBURN — New Auburn Seniors will hold bingo, open to all seniors, starting at noon Wednesday, April 30, at Sacred Heart Church. Three cards are $1 for all games.

Bean supper at American Legion Hall

GRAY — A bean supper will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at the American Legion Hall, 15 Lewiston Road.

Menu includes chop suey, casseroles, coleslaw, hot dogs, breads and desserts. Cost is $8 for adults, $15 a couple, $4 for ages 5-11 and free for under 5.

Christian band presenting concert

LISBON FALLS — Local Christian band New Wine will hold a concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at United Methodist Church, 14 School St.

A potluck supper will precede the concert at 5:30 p.m.

A free will offering will be accepted and nonperishables will benefit Lisbon Area Christian Outreach (LACO).

First Saturday book sale, breakfast

WAYNE — A book sale, boutique and breakfast will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 3, at the Williams House, 14 Old Winthrop Road.

First Saturday sales at the Williams House feature an ongoing book sale and boutique, with new donations arriving every week. Visit with neighbors and have a cup of coffee or tea, scones or quiche. All proceeds benefit the Cary Memorial Library.

Seniors cribbage winners listed

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners at the Lewiston Memorial Armory on April 24 were: first, Roland Bosse and Gene Brown; second, Sandy Verrill and Roger Labbe; third, Steve Agurkis and Mike Martin; fourth, Ed Hinkley and Ike LeCompte; fifth, Dolly Jones and Jim Burgess.
