RUMFORD — A Spring Fling! online auction is under way to benefit the Consumer Activity Fund for The Progress Center.
Many individuals supported by the center have little spending money. The fund was established to provide them with the financial resources needed to participate in activities.
The auction is running through Saturday, May 10, and the website is www.32auctions.com/ProgressCenterMaine.
All monies raised will be used to subsidize unfunded needs of those the center supports.
The Progress Center has a long tradition of supporting people with disabilities. For more than 40 years the agency has promoted socialization, inclusion and employment training services. It supports individuals and families with developmental and intellectual disabilities in 46 communities in Oxford, Franklin, Androscoggin and Cumberland counties.
