AUBURN — A memorial Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Therea M. Bonney was celebrated by the Rev. Lionel Chouinard Friday at Sacred Heart Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. At the beginning of Mass, Theresa’s grandson, Jeff Olin, placed his grandmother’s urn in front of the altar. Theresa’s daughter, Linda Bonney Olin, gave the first reading. Theresa’s close friend, Jeanne Bissonnette, gave the second reading, and she also brought the offertory gifts to the altar. During Communion. granddaughter Theresa Olin sang “Ava Maria.” At the end of Mass, all were invited to the church hall for a reception of fellowship. After the reception, burial was held in the family plot at Elmwood Cemetery, East Sumner. Arrangements by Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home, Lewiston.
