Lindsey Tomlinson-Peck glazes a piece of pottery at her studio in Auburn on Tuesday. Tomlinson-Peck, owner of The Mudroom Pottery Studio, is one of seven potters in Maine who have donated pieces for the Trinity Jubilee Center’s 10th annual Empty Bowls Supper. People attending the May 4 event purchase a pottery piece and in return get to eat soup from seven local restaurants, bread, dessert and enjoy music by the Great Falls Community Folk Orchestra to raise money for the Jubilee Center. The center’s programs include a soup kitchen, food pantry, resource center, refugee assistance program and a day shelter. Students from the Maine College of Art, Bates College, Gould Academy and St. Dominic Academy have also made pottery bowls for the event. The Empty Bowls Supper will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the First Universalist Church in Auburn.
