1955 – 2014

AUBURN — Michael E. Lizotte, 59, of Turner Street, Auburn, died Sunday, May 4, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.

He was born in Lewiston on April 12, 1955, a son of Arthur and Lorraine (Merrow) Lizotte Jr. He was educated in local schools, and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army from 1972 to 1976 and in the Reserve from 1976 to 1978.

He worked for several businesses in the Lewiston-Auburn area, until he became disabled due to illness. He was a recent resident of the VA nursing home in Togus.

Michael was a member of the Pastime Club and enjoyed playing cribbage.

He is survived by his father, Arthur Lizotte; two sisters, Debbie Lake and partner, Marty Nadeau, and Donna Lizotte and life partner, Melissa Benner; a brother, Norman Lizotte; nieces, Jennifer Johnson, Kimmy Travaglini, Maureen Lake, Brittany Lizotte and Shelby Lizotte; a nephew, Ryan Lizotte; and many aunts, uncles, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Michael was predeceased by his mother, Lorraine, in 2012.
