JAY — Spruce Mountain High School has announced activities taking place the week of May 10-17.
Students involved in French classes will travel to Montreal on Thursday and Friday, May 15 and 16.
They will explore Old Montreal, experience the adventure, drama and emotion of an IMAX movie, visit Notre-Dame Basillica, learn how to Salsa with a live band, discover the exhibits of the Musee des Beaux-Arts de Montreal, explore the Underground City and eat in many of the Montreal restaurants and cafes.
There will be a Student of the Month Assembly on Friday, May 16. Department awards will be presented at the assembly.
The junior class will host the Prom from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday, May 17, in the cafeteria. The theme is “Shimmering Seas.”

Saturday, May 10, at 10 a.m., Varsity Girls Tennis at Boothbay; 10 a.m., JV Baseball Double Header at Monmouth; 10 a.m., JV Softball Home vs. Telstar.
Monday, May 12, at 4 p.m., Varsity Girls Tennis Home vs. Dirigo; 4 p.m. Varsity Boys Tennis at Dirigo.
Tuesday, May 13, at 3:30 p.m., Varsity Track at Madison; 4:30 p.m., JV BB/SB at Dirigo.
Wednesday, May 14, at 4:30 p.m., Varsity BB/SB at Madison; 4 p.m., Varsity Girls Tennis at Lisbon; 4 p.m., Varsity Boys Tennis Home vs. Lisbon.
Thursday, May 15, at 4:30 p.m., JV Baseball Home vs. Oak Hill; 4:30 p.m., JV Softball Home vs. Madison.
Friday, May 16, at 4:30 p.m., Varsity BB/SB Home vs. Winthrop; 4 p.m., Varsity Girls Tennis Home vs. Monmouth; 4 p.m., Varsity Boys Tennis at Monmouth.
