SOUTH PARIS — Announcement is made of the engagement of Savannah Dawn Twitchell and Steven Allan Obrien Jr., both of East Bridgewater, Mass.

Miss Twitchell is the daughter of Francine Davey of South Paris and Paul Hamel and Dianne Mydlarz of Long Island, N.Y. She received her GED in 2004 from Piscataquis Community High School in Guilford and is currently employed in Taunton, Mass., working in the human services field, in which she has worked for the past eight years.

Mr. Obrien is the son of Debra Obrien of East Bridgewater, Mass., and Steven Obrien Sr. of West Bridgewater, Mass. He attended East Bridgewater High School, where he left to pursue a career in the forest industry. He is employed with Scott Johnson Land Clearing in East Bridgewater, Mass., where he has been employed for more than 20 years.

The wedding will be held at 4 p.m. on July 11, 2015, in the western mountain region of Maine
