RUMFORD — A benefit for Cheryl Wade will take place from 5 p.m. until midnight Saturday, May 17, at the Rumford Eagles Hall, 13 Oxford Ave.

A spaghetti and meatballs supper will be served until sold out. Menu includes garlic bread, cole slaw, beverage and desserts.

A live auction will start at 7 p.m.

Classic rock music will be played by Roadhouse starting at 8 p.m.

There will also be a Chinese auction and 50/50 raffle throughout the night.

Cost for supper is $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under.

Cost for the dance is $10; supper and dance, $15.

Cheryl is fighting Stiff Person’s Syndrome where the body goes into spasms, enough to break bones. It is a very rare, painful and debilitating disease in which she will need treatments for the rest of her life.

Cheryl is a very strong young women determined to live her life as full as she always has.

The T-shirt is light blue with snowflakes and reads “Support our Snow Angel.” The apron is navy blue. Part of the cost of each item will go to Cheryl.
