SANFORD — Two Sanford men have been arrested for distributing heroin and crack cocaine throughout Maine’s York County.
Police announced Monday that 32-year-old Tommy Lord and 47-year-old Todd Blanchette were charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs. The two men are being held at York County Jail on $50,000 bail each and are scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 15.
Police said in a statement that they learned Lord was making “frequent trips out of state and returning to Maine with significant amounts of heroin and other drugs for resale.” Police said they seized 88 grams of crack cocaine, 18 grams of heroin and 96 dosage units of oxycodone after a search of Lord, Blanchette, and Lord’s vehicle.
Attempts to identify attorneys for both men were not successful.
