BETHEL — There will be two workshops for businesses in the hospitality and tourism industry to learn about the Maine Office of Tourism’s website, VisitMaine.com. One workshop is in the morning in Bethel and the other is in the afternoon in South Paris.
The morning workshop is the feature of the Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce’s monthly Networking Breakfast. The Networking Breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m., followed by the workshop from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. It will be held at Camp in the Grand Summit Hotel at Sunday River Resort.
The afternoon workshop will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Community Concepts, 17 Market Square, South Paris, and is being sponsored by the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce. Both workshops will be held on May 21.
Workshop attendees will learn about the new VisitMaine.com’s features and how to create a business listing on the website that includes photos, maps, packages, itineraries and video links, and posting deals and events. They will also learn about the MOT’s national and international marketing campaigns.
The presenters for this workshop are Greg Gadberry and Steve Lyons from the Maine Office of Tourism.
