FARMINGTON — In conjunction with National EMS Week, NorthStar Ambulance is hosting five base open houses from 3 to 6 p.m. beginning Monday, May 19, at the base at 111 Franklin Health Commons in Farmington; on Tuesday, May 20, at 119 Federal Road in Livermore; on Wednesday, May 21, at 138C Park Street in Phillips; on Thursday, May 22, at 1001 Carriage Road in Carrabassett Valley; and on Friday, May 23, at 15 School St. in Rangeley.

Featured at each open house will be the recently unveiled Domestic Violence Awareness ambulance, base tours, information and refreshments. On display will be Lifeline, a medical alert system that subscribers can utilize by pressing a button when assistance is needed. Visitors can find out more about that program and many others when they visit.
