JAY — Veterans holding flags have begun standing at the Jay War Memorial from 8 to 9 a.m. each Monday and will continue until Veterans Day.
Community members, as well as Maine’s first lady, Ann LePage, and the Freeport Flag Ladies, have joined the group at times in the past.
The tradition is in its sixth year.
