AUGUSTA (AP) — Authorities say at least one person has been injured in an early morning apartment fire in Augusta.

The two-alarm fire on Cedar Court was reported at about 5:45 a.m. Tuesday.

WMTW-TV (http://bit.ly/1op68jo ) reported that when firefighters arrived at the five-unit building, they had to rescue a man from the second floor.

That man was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. His name was not made public.

Everyone else apparently made it out of the building safely.

The state fire marshal’s office has been called in to investigate.
