The five-member Portland-based band includes members from such popular groups as Grand Hotel, Worried Well, Will Gattis, Ramblin’ Red, and GinLab. Their sound is lush, expansive and multi-layered, yet it is crafted to be fundamentally accessible. It has been labeled as indie-rock and chamber pop, among other things.
Forget, Forget’s debut album, “We are All,” is driven by songwriter Tyler DeVos’s work with adults living with mental illness. The lyrical content is a collage of quotes and excerpts uttered by people who live in the group homes where he works.
The members of Forget, Forget are: John Blanchette (guitar, synths, vocals); Tyler DeVos (guitar, vocals); Aaron LaChance (percussion); Patia Maule (synths, violin, vocals), and Dominic Grosso (bass). The band’s website is www.forgetforgetmusic.com.
