RANGELEY — Public memorial services for Merle Clark Allen Sr. of Rangeley were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Main St., Rangeley, with Rev. Jud Pealer officiating, following memorial visitation at the church.  Barry Libby was lay reader and Sue Downs-Borko was the pianist.  Congregation Hymns included “A Mighty Fortress is our God,” “Lord of all Hopefulness” and “Amazing Grace.”  Following services, a reception was held at Moose Alley.  At both the memorial visitation and reception, a video tribute was shared with family and friends, and it may now be viewed on his memorial wall at www.wilesrc.com.  Private family burial will take place at the Turner Center Cemetery.  Memorial services and cremation arrangements were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Centers of Jay and Farmington.
