1984 – 2014
LEWISTON — Christopher M. Theriault, 30, of Auburn, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 31, at Central Maine Medical Center.
He was born in Lewiston on March 12, 1984, a son of Richard and Sheri Theriault, and had been a resident of this community all of his life. He was educated in Auburn schools and was a graduate of Edward Little High School, Class of 2002. He was employed at the Auburn Turnpike Circle K truck stop.
Christopher was an avid sports fan who loved the San Francisco 49ers and the Phoenix Suns; his two favorite players were Terrell Owens and Amar’e Stoudemire. He had a passion for watching and critiquing movies, listening to music and in the past year, was learning to play the keyboard and going to the gym to work out. He was very competitive with his brother, Joey, whom he was extremely close with. He always looked forward to family gatherings to talk about and debate sports with his cousins. Christopher was a kindhearted person who loved children, animals and pets.
He is survived by his daughter, Riley Theriault, of South Carolina; his parents, Richard and Sheri Theriault of Auburn; his paternal grandmother, Doris Theriault, of Winthrop; paternal grandfather, Alfred Theriault, of Lewiston; maternal grandmother, Joan Hebert, of Auburn; two brothers, Joseph R. and Ryan M. Theriault, both of Auburn; his loving girlfriend, Kaila Berube, of Auburn; a sister, Alicia Landry, of Auburn; cousins, Kyle and Jeremy Theriault, John and Jake Nason, Corey and Christian Burgiel, Jordan Anderson and Kendra and Kelsey Butcher; his aunts, Karen Theriault, Susan Nason, Linda Theriault, Janie Anderson and Sue Butcher; his uncles, David Theriault, Kevin Anderson, John Nason and Arthur Butcher; his very close friends, Ryan Beaulieu, Brad Reed, Jeff Huntington, Cam Marr, Jake Daskowski, Sean Boilard, Joe Rathbun and numerous other friends.
