SCARBOROUGH — The American Heart Association in Maine recently welcomed Meredith Jancovic as corporate events director. Her primary focus will be the Central Maine Heart Walk on Sept. 14 in Lewiston-Auburn with a satellite walk in Rumford on the same day.
She will also be responsible for a Bangor social event as well as a new Go Red For Women event in Rockport — both being planned for 2015.
Jancovic worked in the real estate industry for the past 12 years and previously worked for U.S. Sen. Susan Collins.
She is an avid runner and triathlete who believes health is a priority. She resides in Gray with her husband and son.
