1914 – 2014

LEWISTON —Cora G. Dumont, 99, formerly of Greene, died Friday, June 6, at Montello Manor, where she had resided for the past eight years.

She was born in Lewiston on July 27, 1914, a daughter of the late Thomas and Helen (St. Pierre) Remillard. Cora was a stitcher for Clark Shoe and Dori Shoe.

She was a member of St. Francis Church in Greene and was most recently attending Holy Family Church. She was also a member of the Lewiston Senior Citizens.

Cora enjoyed playing bingo and traveling with friends, and loved spending time with her family.

She leaves three daughters, Constance Spencer and husband, Ralph, of Auburn, Theresa Hebert and husband, Larry, of Turner and Rachel Grant and companion, Bob, of Sabattus; a son, Roger Dumont and wife, Rolande, of Lewiston; and many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Ronald Dumont; two sisters, Mabel Crabb and Rita Buteau; and a brother, John Remillard.
