WILTON — Police are investigating who threw rocks through the front windows of the Wilton Post Office.
Police were called at 6:30 a.m. Saturday after employees discovered the vandalism, Jennifer Farrington, Wilton police administrative assistant, read from Sgt. Chad Abbott’s report. She said there also were concrete fragments broken from the sidewalk in front.
The post office was closed Saturday so it could be cleaned up.
The cost to replace the windows is estimated to be $500, she said.
