HARRISON — The Town of Harrison Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring the 12th annual 5K Run By The Lake to benefit many year-round pre-kindergarten through senior citizens special activities. It will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 9.

Registration is $13 by July 1 or $18 after July 1 with $3 off for Harrison residents. Free T-shirts will go to the first 100 pre-registered racers. There will be bib drawings and many winning categories.

Rec department members are collecting prize donations from local businesses for each category winner. If interested in having a business name printed on the T-shirts or having a banner displayed at the finish line, contact the department.
