LEWISTON — “Literary Elements” is the theme of the Lewiston Public Library’s 2014 Adult Summer Reading Program combining science and literature in a variety of ways sure to pique interest.
Read some of today’s best science writing, pick up a movie/book combo pack, attend family friendly science events and enjoy the library’s science fiction collection.
Enter prize drawings by writing book reviews, playing the literary elements tic-tac-toe game and by turning in a summer reading log. The grand prize drawing is for a $50 Amazon gift card.
Amazon will donate a portion of their profit to LPL when you shop at Smile.Amazon.com and choose “the Friends of the Lewiston Public Library” as your organization to support.
The program begins on June 22. The last day to enter drawings will be Aug. 16.
The program is open to all adults age 18 and over. For more information, call the library at 513-3134 or visit LPLonline.org. All programs are free of charge.
