1941 – 2014
AUBURN — Ronald M. Russell, 73, of Raymond Street in Rumford, died Sunday, June 15, upon arrival at the Hospice House in Auburn.
He was born in Corinna on April 24, 1941, a son of Horace and Irma (Pattee) Russell, and graduated from Corinna Union Academy.
For many years, Ronald owned and operated R.M. Russell Associates in Rumford, until retirement. He was a member of the Elks, Masonic Lodge and the Rumford Polar Bears Club.
He was married in Charleston on May 28, 1960, to Annie Whitehead, who survives of Rumford. Other survivors include a daughter, Mary Allen and husband, Robert, of Dixfield; son, Ronald E. Russell Sr. and wife, Lisa, of Rumford; grandchildren, Sarah Allen and husband, Bobby, Susan Bryant, Marie and Richard Russell and Ronald Russell Jr.; and two great-grandchildren, Reese and Camyrn Allen.
He was predeceased by a sister, Myrtle Manzer; and a brother, Melvin Russell Sr.
