1931 – 2014
AUBURN — Richard O. McCrillis, 82, a resident of Livermore Falls, died Wednesday, June 11, as a result of injuries sustained after being struck by an automobile on June 1 in Livermore Falls.
He was born in Wilton on Nov. 21, 1931, a son of Earl and Leona (Spencer) McCrillis. Richard attended school in Jay. Throughout the years, Richard worked in the woods and took care of cattle on Malcolm Turner’s farm in East Jay.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he loved to go for walks and watch TV.
Richard is survived by his sisters, Arlene Jones of Livermore Falls and Hazel Hayman of Sabattus; his brother, Sanford McCrillis, of Wilton; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister, Opal Donnell.
