LEWISTON — Pauline G. Schutt, 75, of 1048 Sabattus St., died Friday, June 20, at St. Mary’s Medical Center after a long illness.
She was born in Lewiston on Aug. 1, 1938, the daughter of the late Alfred and Antoinnette Beaudry Marquis. Pauline attended Lewiston area schools.
Pauline was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She was employed at Bedard Pharmacy and also worked as a crossing guard for the Lewiston school system.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Jane VanTassell and husband, Richard, of Boston, Mass., and Michele Schutt of Tampa, Fla.; two sons, Rene Vallee of Lewiston and Brian Schutt and wife, Jennifer, of Auburn; two sisters, Cecile Giguere and husband, Gabriel, of Lewiston and Jackie Giguere and husband, Guy, of Lewiston; grandchildren, Katherine VanTassell, Taylor Schutt, Kyler Zitch, Defghan Zitch, and Gabrielle Schutt.
She is predeceased by her husband, Arnold W. Schutt, who passed away on March 24, 1989; her daughter, Theresa Vallee; and three brothers Paul, Raymond and Tobie Marquis.
