AUBURN — Ashok Sharma, 66, of Auburn, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away Friday, June 27, leaving behind her husband, Ravi (BK), daughter, Sunira, son Kush, grandchildren, Nikhil and Amisha, friends and family.

Ashok was active in her community, bringing Indian culture to Maine. She loved teaching Indian dance to children, loved travel and reading. Her grandkids were the light of her life. She worked in the Auburn school system for many years and loved her job. She will be missed by so many.

The funeral was held on Monday, June 30, and Ashok’s wish is that instead of flowers, donations be sent to the American Cancer Society and/or the Humane Society.
