1916 – 2014

LEWISTON—Patricia Robitaille, 98, formerly of Mount Hope Avenue, died Tuesday July 1, at Montello Manor Assisted Living with her family by her side.

She was born in Magog P.Q., Canada, on April 9, 1916, a daughter of the late Joseph & Delia Paradis DesFosses. She was educated in Canadian schools.

On Oct. 3, 1936, she married Alphee E. Robitaille, who died on Aug. 21, 1997.

Patricia was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish at Holy Cross Church.

She enjoyed her family, including all her grandchildren and their children, cooking, sewing, canning, playing cards, gardening, family get-togethers, baking beans, shopping, especially for bras, and bathing her many newborn grandchildren.

Our mom will be remembered for her smile, her laugh, her wicked sense of humor, her compassion and willingness to help anyone in need, anytime, and her undying devotion to her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Claudette Lizotte and husband, Ralph, of Norton, Mass.,

Anita Gove and late husband, Fred, of Windham, N.H.; three sons, Victor Robitaille and wife, Linda, of Sabattus, Louis Robitaille and wife, Linda, of Loudon, Tenn., and John Robitaille and wife, Mary, of Greene; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Florianne Robitaille and husband, Lionel (Sonny), of Lewiston; daughters-in-law, Barbara & Virginia Robitaille; and son-in-law, Frank Kwiatkowski.

She was also predeceased by a daughter, Annette Kwiatkowski; two sons, Alphee Jr. and Hector (Babe) Robitaille; two granddaughters, Stacy Robitaille and Tina Bellegarde; six sisters; and a brother.

The family wishes to thank all the family and friends who visited with Mom during her stay at Montello Assisted Living, as well as the staff there who loved her and she loved them.
