John Murphy, left, president of the Maine Credit Union League, presents the James M. Gratto Award for Outstanding Credit Union CEO to Phil Moreau, president/CEO of Rainbow Federal Credit Union. Moreau has been with the credit union for 42 years. The award was presented at recent ceremony in Portland in conjunction with the League’s 76th annual meeting and convention. Moreau was recognized for his more than four decades of involvement with the credit union industry in Maine. He has served several terms on the Maine Credit Union League’s Board, including chairman twice. He serves as treasurer on the board. He announced earlier this year his intention to retire on June 30, 2015.
