WILTON — The Maine Wildlife Conservation Council is holding a “Save our hunting heritage rally and pig roast” on Saturday, July 12, at the Wilton Lions Club/Legion Hall on Main Street.
The rally is related to the Nov. 4 statewide referendum to ban bear baiting, trapping and hounding in Maine.
The rally begins at 4 p.m. with a 50/50 raffle, auctions and musical entertainment. The supper is at 4:30 p.m. Cost is $20 adults, $10 for children under age 12.
