I thought there was an ordinance prohibiting fireworks in Auburn. But here it is, almost 10 p.m. as I write this, and there are still people out there acting like Looney Tunes.

Why is there nothing being done to stop them?

If I had the energy, car and some fireworks, I would go up where Gov. LePage lives and set quite a load around his residence and see how he likes what he started with those idiotic plans of his to make money selling fireworks.

He should be run out of the state.

There is no peace of mind here, and it is not fair to senior citizens.

I sure hope someone does something soon.

Dolores Ginn, Auburn
