CARRABASSETT VALLEY — A Jay man was arrested late Thursday night when police responded to a burglary alarm and found the front door kicked in at a Route 27 residence, police Chief Mark Lopez said.
Officer Brad Scolin found the damaged door and and called in Maine State Police Trooper Jed Malcore to assist him.
The two found Kevin Heikkinen II, 26, asleep on a bed, Lopez said.
Scolin arrested Heikkinen on charges of burglary and trespassing. He was taken to the Franklin County jail in Farmington.
