LEWISTON – Central Maine Christian Academy on Main Street recently held its graduation ceremony at Wayside Baptist Church in Livermore.

James Morrill, son of Michael and Heidi Morrill of Bowdoin, and Brandyn Hobbs, son of Gary and Tammy Paquette of Sabattus, were presented with their diplomas.

Administrator Patricia St. Hilaire gave the invocation and teacher Mike Nyberg gave the opening prayer. Pastor Dan Corff, Bible teacher at CMCA, presented the commencement address titled “Principles for Powerful Living,” using 1 Corinthians 16.”

Students honored their senior classmates through songs and a video tribute. It was followed by a PowerPoint presentation of the graduates’ lives produced by their parents and assistant teacher Becca Chabot.

The diplomas were awarded by administrator Patricia St. Hilaire, board member David St. Hilaire and members of the high school staff, Michele Hall, Megan Corff, Pastor Corff and Mike Nyberg.

Following the ceremony, relatives and friends joined the graduates and their parents in a receiving line and reception.
