I thank the Sun Journal for the recent addition of Fareed Zakaria to the syndicated columnists that the newspaper regularly prints. It is so refreshing to read thoughtful commentary on current events rather than the predictable and inane rants of Cal Thomas against our increasingly secular society.
The divisive writings of the likes of Thomas do not lend themselves to an understanding of the complexities of the issues of our times. The intelligent writings of Zakaria offers a little balance.
