DEAR SUN SPOTS: Two years go my wife and I were riding around the countryside and came across a several-acre field full of sunflowers. We have tried many times to find it again to take pictures with no luck.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Holy Trinity will be having its 10th annual Christmas fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 22 at 67 Frost Hill Ave., Lisbon Falls.
Setup time will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21.
Table rentals are the same as last year: $20 for a 6-foot table and $25 for an 8-foot table.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Dixfield’s annual Main Street outdoor market is seeking vendors. The all-day market is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, rain or shine.
The approximately 10- by 15-foot spaces are filling up, so contact Deb at 207-562-8006 to secure your spot. The fee is $20.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: On July 3 Lisa wrote looking for an ice cream truck to attend an event. I sent her the following information by email but thought other readers might want to know.
In July’s Woman’s Day magazine (womansday.com) there was a story about Darling’s Car dealership in Augusta “Melting Hearts,” page 16). Fundraisers reserve the truck for two to three hours. Darling’s employees hand out treats and encourage donations. Sounds cool to me.
