WEST PARIS — Have you had an opportunity to see the old logging photos at the West Paris Library? These wonderful old photos, graciously shared by the Bethel Historical Society, will be on display until the end of August.

On Tuesday, July 22, at 6:30 p.m., the library will feature the photos and a talk given by Cliff Jackson, a native of the Sunday River Valley, who at an early age entered the woods with his father and learned much about many aspects of logging.

Jackson, who now resides in West Paris, will speak, but he hopes to hear from the attendees who themselves, their fathers, grandfathers, uncles or ancestors have had the life of the woods in their blood.

There will be refreshments following the talk.

For more information, call the library at 674-2004.
