Officers of the William J. Rogers Post 153, Sons of the American Legion Squadron 153, Auburn, were installed recently. From left are Wayne Brooks, sergeant-at-arms; Bert Asselin, historian; Mike Bellemare, commander; Rich Brown, chaplain; and Kevin Chapman, adjutant/finance officer. Sons of the American Legion was founded in 1932 to honor the service and sacrifice of legionnaires. Since 1988, Sons of American Legion has raised over $5.8 million for the American Legion Child Welfare Foundation, volunteered over 500,000 hours at veterans’ hospitals and raised over $1 million for VA hospitals and VA homes.
