1943 – 2014

NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. — Alvin E. Davis Jr. passed away at Hope Hospice Center in North Fort Myers, Fla., on Thursday, July 3, of natural causes. Al lived most of his 71 years in the warmth of the Florida sun.

He was the son of Alvin and Mary “Betty” Davis and was born in Livermore Falls on Feb. 10, 1943. Tink, or Al as his friends knew him, was a hard worker until health issues forced him to retire.

Tink loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and watching his favorite sports on TV. His served in the Air Force in the 1960s and was stationed in Germany until his discharge.

He is survived by his father, Alvin Davis Sr., of Livermore Falls; a son, Scott Armando and his wife, Belinda, of Arizona; a daughter, Christy Davis, of New Hampshire; a sister, Penny Brown, of Livermore Falls; and his longtime companion, Donna Brearman, of North Fort Myers, Fla.

He was predeceased by his mother, Mary Davis, in 1999.
