Turkey dinner at Lisbon Odd Fellows

LISBON — A public turkey dinner will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 25, at the Odd Fellows Hall, 27 Village St.

Cost is $7 for adults, $3.50 for ages 5-12 and free for preschoolers.

The meal is hosted by Nina Rebekah Lodge No. 86 and Sabattus River Lodge No. 21.

Ark lecture on mitochondria

LEWISTON — A health lecture, “The Powerhouse of The Cell — The Mitochondria,” will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, at The Ark,  791 Lisbon St.

The program by Mary Penner, NP, is about creating more energy for your body. There is no fee and registration is not required.

Sabattus seniors’ picnic is Aug. 7

SABATTUS — Sabattus seniors will meet on Thursday, Aug. 7, for their annual picnic, at Maxwell Gill Hall. Doors will open at 10 a.m.

Appetizers will include a veggie tray, chips and dip, cheese and crackers, watermelon and fruit salad. Lunch will be meatballs, potato salad, barbecue hot dogs in sauce and pasta salad. Drinks and dessert also included. The price is $8.

Members will play bingo and pass the buck if time allows.

As there was no meeting in July many have probably not signed up. To sign up, call Pauline at 375-4037 by Aug. 1. If you did sign up and can’t make it, let Pauline know as well.
