PARIS — Two adults and a 3-year-old girl were transported to Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway on Sunday after their car was struck on the driver’s side by a pickup truck.
Christine Dumont, 47, Wesley Miller, 19, and a three-year old girl— addresses unknown — were taken from the scene of the collision at approximately noon on Sunday, July 27, for treatment of crash-related injuries. The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.
According to Paris Police, Dumont was driving a bronze 2001 Ford Focus near 357 Oxford St. when Joseph Heath attempted a left turn into a private driveway. His pickup truck slammed into the car’s driver’s side.
Police said Heath declined to be transported to the hospital.
The Ford Focus suffered damage to the driver’s front side and had to be towed from the scene. The 1998 Ford Ranger pickup truck was not towed.
Heath was reportedly later summoned to the Oxford County Jail in South Paris for operating a vehicle after his license was suspended. He was later released.
