WATERFORD — A Massachusetts woman who went missing overnight from Papoose Pond Campground was found Friday morning at a rest area two miles away, according to the Maine Warden Service.
Christine Loring, 62, from Winthrop, Mass. had been reported missing after last being seen at 2:30 a.m. on a foot bridge in the campground, Cpl. John MacDonald said in a release.
She was located around 8 a.m. at the rest area, alive and well, and had apparently walked there, according to MacDonald.
No more details were available.
