The sixth annual lawnmower races provided a lot of excitement on Aug. 2 from the Andover Mowta Speedway during Andover Olde Home Days.
After Steven Dyer (at left) won the 10-lap slow heat, 10 lawnmower racers took part in the 25-lap fast heat. Before that race was over, half the field had dropped out. Andrew Morton (third from left) won the race, with his father, Eric (second from left), in third, and Esau Cooper (at right) placing second.
