AUBURN — Beverly E. White, 74, of Auburn died Thursday, July 31, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin with her family by her side.
She was born in Stafford Springs, Conn., on June 3, 1940, the daughter of the late William J. and Geraldine E. (Mumford) Powell.
She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her pets and grandchildren. In her earlier years, she owned and operated a dog grooming business and later worked as a CNA, working with the elderly.
She enjoyed working around the yard, cooking and sewing. Beverly had a kind heart and always helped those in need.
She is survived by her son, David D’Avignon of Gainsville, Fla.; her daughter, Gina D’Avignon and her husband, Rick Smith, of Auburn; stepchildren, Allison Auger and her husband, Michael Haskell, of Oxford and Edward McNelly and his wife, Angela, of Oxford. She loved her grandchildren, Breahna Vance and her husband, Devon, Hailey Haskell, Megan McNelly, Nick McNelly, Joshua Smith and Jenna and Lianne Hoxie-Smith.
Beverly was predeceased by her son, Paul D’Avignon, and her husband and best friend, Ronald White.
She will be missed by all who loved her.
