DEAR SUN SPOTS: I really need your help. The denture office where I had my implants for dentures closed. I didn’t know about it. They never called or wrote to ask if I wanted my records.

I need my records desperately in order to make my new dentures. They need the information to finish them.

The building is still there on Central Street in Auburn, and their telephone number was in the phonebook last year.

I don’t know how to find the doctors to get my medical records. Could you or someone help me find them? — Betsy, South Paris

ANSWER: Sun Spots figured that Betsy forgot to include the name of the doctor and denture clinic and called her for that information, but it turns out she doesn’t remember either name and can’t find any old paperwork.

She said it was in a big white building across from a gas station and that the building is still there. Sun Spots assumes probably on Center Street, but that is not certain either.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: You are so helpful, so here I go again. I wonder if you can find out where clothing (shirts, sweatpants, sweatshirts, etc.) with school logos for Edward Little and St. Dom’s can be purchased. I’ve tried some of the sport shops to no avail and then I thought of Sun Spots. Appreciate your help. — No Name, Lewiston-Auburn

ANSWER:A teacher friend of Sun Spots said that those items are sold at the school during the year. He also noted that there is usually someone at the school even in the summer, so Sun Spots called to see if the school store is open now.

It turns out that the store is not open during the summer. Nancy said that it only sells a few, limited items anyway. She suggested Walmart, RiteAid and Shaw’s as possible sources.

School logo sportswear is also widely available online. Try prepsportswear.com (www.prepsportswear.com/school/us/Maine/Auburn/Edward-Little-High-School-Eddies.aspx?schoolid=150570) or mylocker.net (www.mylocker.net/maine/auburn/edward-little-high-school/index.html).

As for St. Dom’s, you can buy those items at its Spirit Shop, on campus at 121 Gracelawn Road in Auburn. It is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. even in the summer. You can call the school at 207-782-6911.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I read the letter from the felon looking for work (Aug. 5) and wanted to let you and him know my phone number has changed to 207-333-9247. Please let that person know so that I can advise him. Thank you. — Calvin Dube, director of Cell to Street Ministry
