When our children are born, we all hope they are going to make the world a better place. My son, Eric Brakey, is trying to do exactly that by running for the Maine Senate.
My family goes back four generations in New Gloucester. My husband and I both graduated from Gray-New Gloucester High School. We are proud that Eric wants to represent our hometown in the Maine Senate.
He will serve Maine with honor, common sense and compassion. He is working every day knocking on doors, meeting voters and listening to their concerns. I hope the voters of New Gloucester, Auburn, Poland, Minot and Mechanic Falls will consider voting for Eric Brakey for Maine Senate on Election Day in November.
I have written letters before, but I have never been more proud to send one than I am today.
