It is election time again. With many important issues on the ballot, I hope voters will turn out and make their choices.
In the past, I have found campaign pamphlets at my doorstep and in my mailbox and didn’t have an opportunity to personally meet the candidate. That changed recently when Eric Brakey came to my door and introduced himself with a handshake of confidence.
I liked that.
I had the opportunity to express my thoughts to him on some issues that concern me. I’ve talked to neighbors and friends who also had a visit from him. It is obvious that this young man is on a mission.
Having met him, I am confident that he can make positive changes. When we close the curtain in our polling booths, my wife and I will vote for Eric Brakey for the Maine Senate to represent Auburn, Durham, New Gloucester and Poland.
